Edin Dzeko: It’s not about the money for Manchester City stars

Edin Dzeko insists it is the glamour of nights like tonight that attracted a galaxy of stars to  Manchester City rather than the vast riches on offer at Eastlands.

City’s second game in their debut Champions League campaign takes them to the Allianz Arena, to face four-time winners Bayern Munich and reached the final only two seasons ago.

‘It is not about money,’ said the Bosnian. ‘It is playing against clubs like Bayern Munich, one of the best in the world. That is why we all came to Manchester City.’
